Systems Controls

The additional systems and improvements of our boat have been selected and installed for maximum effect and performance.

Master Control Panel: All systems are set up at the master panel for both 12V and 110V. This allows for ease of control and monitoring. Everything is protected with circuit breakers.

Electrical: The charging system is a Prosine 3000 wattt inverter/charger. It provides 24/7 110 power for all needs. This has been a very comfortable and comforting addition for our cruising. The 6 no maintenance AGM batteries have 210 amp hours each . The 8KW gen set keeps this system charged without having to find shorepower. In addition to the standard outlets we have added outlets to the cockpit and bridge. The dual 50 A shore connections are there because of the air conditioning units.

Heating: The diesel Webasto 2010 hot water furnace is an awsome system providing maximum even heat throughout the boat. Each of the 6 zone outlets in the boat has a fan control for off, low or high utilizing the heat/radiator for that location. If you do not want the heat in that area the circulating hot water continues on throughout the boat and returns to be reheated. This also heats a tank called Everhot that supplements the usual 11 gallon hot water tank. All of this is handled through an electronic digital thermostat.

Air Conditioning: There are two units factory installed, one is 16,000 BTU's in the salon and the other 12,000 BTU's in the master stateroom. Since they are reverse cycle units they could also provide heat. Usually Bayliner boats with the air were manufactured in the south. This boat was custom ordered from Marysville with the air units. We even have a video showing some of the construction and assemblage there.

Bridge Enclosure: This area is like another room and is totally comfortable in all weather. We have regularly operated the boat from here. The Strataglass provides a 360 degree view at all times for maximum operation and enjoyment. There is an additional matching helm seat for a second person. With the auto pilot control the boat can even be handled from this position. We have also put in controls for the windlass operation. These are not items Bayliner included. The hardtop extension over the cockpit also gives an outdoor extension for the bridge. This is a great place to store bulky items such as extra fenders, buoys or even a dunnage locker.

Watermaker: The 400 gpd Village watermaker allows for constant fresh water. Because we cruised in remote areas the availability and quality of water was marginal at best. We loved this addition. There is a remote control panel in the salon.

Cockpit: Beyond the usual access to the boat this area has been transformed into an area protected from the weather. Chairs, a table, and equipment can be out at all times. There is also fishing rod storage for up to 8 rods. The original raw water washdown bib has been transformed into a fresh water bib great for cleanup including a fish cleaning station. There are the custom side pocket lockable storage units on each side. There is a fire extinguisher and full carpeting (brand new, never used) available. Line storage is under the ladder. A 110 V. outlet is here too. You have quick access to the swim platform and the electric davit for the dinghy. Carrying the dinghy in a horizontal position gives greater visibility out the stern.

Ground Tackle: The 44# Bruce anchor, 200' of 5/16" HT chain, 300' of rode backing it up allow for maximum anchoring in any conditions. This anchor is rated beyond the recommended size for this boat.
